My Review: I admit I was familiar with the author’s work so I was expecting to like this novel, but wow!  My expectations were greatly exceeded!

The protagonist Quinlin, is blind but he has “gifts” that help him overcome most of life’s difficulties.  He meets Ryzel, an incubus and finds out they are destined to be together.  He also finds out sex with an Incubus is everything it’s legended to be.

Start reading and you think, “oh, I know where this is going.” And then you find out how wrong you are.

ID Locke lays an intricate, thought out fantasy mythos over our modern world with seamless skill.  She allows you to experience the hierarchy of the demons of Hell in an interesting way.  The world presented in this novel is obviously very deep, but we are only given tantalizing glimpses that leave us curious and wanting more. The characters are likable, frightening and fun all in one.  The sex scenes are integrated well into the storyline and are hot!  If you are looking for deep angst or total fluff then this isn’t for you.  If you want to experience a well thought out erotic romance with paranormal/fantasy elements then read away.

I really enjoyed this book.  I know it is one I will read more than once.
